I have been wanting to try this ever since I first saw it on
Chloe's Nails. I love her scotch tape manis! I'm planning to do another one of these for St. Patricks Day... I just have to decide which greens I'm using! I currently have Zoya Ivanka, Suvi, Shawn, and Midori. We'll see!
I got bored with the O
PI DS Opulence pretty quickly, so I added
OPI DS Radiance and
Zoya Raven. This is my right hand.... I messed up a bit on my left hand with the order of the patterns... Lesson learned!
I love the way this turned out! I'm so proud of myself! This would have been impossible without
Seche Vite.... It would have taken HOURS!

Did you do a coat of SV over every layer then to make it dry quicker?
ReplyDeleteI haven't done one of these yet. Very cool!
Love it! Very pretty :) I always forget to buy scotch tape... I want to try this too!
ReplyDelete@Megan; Yeah... Basecoat, SV. Tape, paint, remove tape, SV. Tape again somewhere else, paint, remove tape, SV. took about 30 minutes.
ReplyDeleteI need more tape I want to try this one!
ReplyDeleteIsn't tape a normal house item lol? I couldn't live without keeping scotch tape in the house.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if painters tape like you'd use on the walls is good for patchwork manis...
