Tronica Scotch Tape Mani

I got my Tronica's about 3 weeks ago for my birthday from my lovely sister! I haven't used them yet, save for the one time I used Techno Teal to stamp on my birthday manicure. I have been itching to try these, but put them on hold so I could try all of my new Zoya's out for you guys. See how much I love you?

Rather than try them all separately, I wanted to do something with them all at once. I've loved the way they look all together since I saw what Chloe's Nails did... So of course, I stole the idea. I love her nails! <3

I used Electra Magenta, Laser Lime, Techno Teal, and Virtual Violet.

Sparkly goodness!

I highly recommend clicking these pictures to view them in full size and full beautifulness!

Hello?! Rainbows AND Sparkles?? I'm pleased. For shame to anyone who said they were disappointed in this collection... They may not be the linear holo's that we're craving (still not funny, Zoya.....), but these are definitely beautiful in their own accord. The sparkle in these is unreal! I am definitely not disappointed... Love it! They applied beautifully smooth, and seem to be one coaters (judging from Electra Magenta, which was the first color and applied across the whole nail. Completely opaque!)

  3. LOVE it! Now I'm upset I didn't get another Tronica last weekend. I got Seche Plus (on 50% clearance) instead.

  7. Super cute Amber. I'm blogging about my Tronica mani right now as well lol.

@Drip - 3d Fantasy is the only other one on my list I can't find. I might buy it from you! Or trade?

  9. I have yet to be successful with the scotch tape mani. It seems so simple, but I just haven't gotten it to work. Is there a trick or a step I'm missing?

  11. Lindsay, are you using Seche Vite? That's the star of the show in tape mani's.

  12. Lovely I have to try to do this! It looks so great!

  13. Nope. I've been avoiding Seche Vite because I've heard that it doesn't work well with Zoya's. I'd rather just have one that works for everything.

  14. I have heard that too, but I have used it with Zoya and haven't had any problems. As long as you use thin, even coats and wrap the tips, it should be all good. I use it now with everything. :D

  15. I think that the trick with Zoya is to let it dry just a bit before you put on SV... with everything else you can apply it while the polish is wet.
