Yep! I couldn't let this wait til tomorrow.... I HAD to show you guys what I got in my Birchbox this month! This is my second Birchbox... You can find the post about my first box by clicking the tag over there to the right! I absolutely LOVE getting this little box every month! If you don't know what Birchbox is, basically you pay $10 every month, like a subscription. Every month around the 10th, you get a little box in the mail filled with "deluxe samples", based on things that you're interested in (you fill out a beauty profile in your account; skin and hair type, color, the things you're most concerned/interested in, etc). Many people have asked me if I think it's actually worth the money spent every month.... Well, let me just let the products do the talking. :)
I thought it was cute that this months Birchbox is travel based, considering I just got back from vacation. Ha!
Opened! I love the care that they take when packaging the box... Everything is so pretty!
The first thing I grabbed was the Laura Geller Baked Blush & Brighten compact. This was a super great treat, because this is NOT a sample... this is a full size! This make-up alone triples the value of what I spent on my Box.... Yes, that's right! This retails for $30! It's not so much of a blush as it is a bronzer, I suppose... It's a pretty honey color with a shiny shimmer. I can't wait to try it tomorrow... It seems to give that perfect "summer glow"!
Next, there's the Amika Obliphica Oil Treatment (anti-frizz and nourishing protection for your hair... Will try this tomorrow!) and Pangea Organics Toner. I'm pretty excited to use the toner!
I also got a few smaller packets: 2 Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Glow Pads (self-tanner wipes... I'm going to give these to a girl at work) and some Pangea Organics Balancing Oil (I don't know that I'll use this on my face (it's oily enough!!), but maybe... We'll see!)
There you have it ladies... my second Birchbox! Over all, I'm pleased, just like I was last month! Like I said before, the blush/bronzer makes it worth it by itself, but all of the other stuff too?? Ladies, if you have been thinking about subscribing for a monthly Birchbox, DO IT! You won't regret it!! You can get your very own monthly Birchbox at www.birchbox.com!
