I was so honored that Amber asked me to do a guest blog for her. I wanted it to be as special as she is, so my choice of polishes out of the 600 or so I own is China Glaze's Octa Gone Wild from the Kaleidoscope Collection. This collection is discontinued, very hard to find and is going for outrageous prices on Ebay. I was lucky enough to have a friend and fellow blogger Sarah J to send it to me. It is a beautiful lilac holographic polish that doesn't disappoint. Application was actually pretty easy and only required 2 coats. I did use a base and top coat to help it wear longer, some holographic polishes will chip easily and show wear fast. I've had this one on 24 hours now and it looks just as good now as it did when I applied it.
Holographics are sometimes hard to capture when taking pictures and especially purples, but I think the true color shows up with this one. The first four pictures are outside and the sun was playing hide and seek. The last 2 were taken indoors. I hope you enjoy the polish and blog as much as I did.
