Not Like The movies is a pretty, deep gunmetal grey, with a white silver shimmer and larger glass flecks. You can really see the bits of larger flecks in the last few pictures, but it really shows more on the nail than it lets on in my pictures. This is more of a muted, dark grey silver, unlike the bright blingy-ness of Zoya Trixie. I really like it.... it's a very wearable silver! More like a shimmery medium dark grey.
I finished off this mani by stamping with one of the new Bundle Monster plates, BM-224 and my favourite black stamping polish, Essence I Love My Jeans.
Loving this one! It's a full nail design with colors that aren't so in your face.... very wearable for anyone, in my opinion!

I love your silver metallic flowers, your nails are so gorgoeus and so pretty, Bundle Monster plate no. BM-224 and now I have to get this polish, that I love so much, "Essence I love my Jeans! But first, you used OPI "Not Like the Movies, LOL" This is such a gorgeous silver shade...

ReplyDeleteWow - I missed this whole issue with 2 versions of Not Like the Movies. I knew OPI sold out of the entire Katy Perry collection first day it was released & they had problems with filling their own distributors orders so they had to make entire new runs when they had not planned on it. I got my 2 bottles of Not Like The Movies from the first batch and picked up a 2nd bottle only because I saw right off it was a duochrome and unlike any that I had. I am glad I stumbled over this looking at your stash list and saw 2 forms of this shade listed!
