October Julep Maven Boho Glam Box (Gayle & Malin)

Hey guys! It's my favorite time of month... Julep time! If you're not familiar with the Julep Maven program, it's much like the Birchbox. For $20 a month, you are sent a box with nail and hand care products. My boxes so far have retailed for about $50 a month, so it's totally worth it! Their polishes are small but gorgeous, and I've LOVED every product I have received! Especially the Facial for Hands Glycolic Scrub and the Cuticle Oil! When you sign up for Julep Maven, you take a quick test to decide which profile you're in. Mine is Boho Glam, which suits me perfectly!

Included in this month's Julep Maven Boho Glam box were Gayle & Malin, along with Julep Glow On hand brightening cream. I used Glow On after I used the Facial For Hands scrub that was in my intro box, and I loved it! My hands were so soft for hours!!

Julep Malin is a soft champagne with very fine silver shimmer. Such a gorgeous, classic look! I love this shade! It took 3 quick coats to achieve complete opacity.

Julep Gayle is the perfect eggplant creme. Not quite as dark as Essie's Carry On... This is more how I expected Carry On to look. 2 coats.

This is only my second Julep Maven box, but I'm loving it so far! There have been glitches and bumps, but please remember that this is a new program, and it continues to get better and better! The only thing I am not happy with so far is the shipping... They're using FedEx Smart Post. If you have had any experiences with Smart Post, you know that it's pretty much the most inefficient, slowest shipping available! I truly hope they choose a new shipping method soon. But, these boxes are so great, I'm willing to deal!

  1. Gayle reminds me of the purple in CG's Metro collection. Can't remember what it was called haha 8) They both look great on you!
