Kendal: Zoya describes Kendal as a "lavender, beige creme". She is just gorgeous! Flawless in just 2 coats.
Megan: Zoya describes Megan as "taupe gray creme". This one really reminds me of winter... almost the color of snow-y clouds! 2 coats.
Avery: Zoya describes Avery as a "blond-beige creme". This is the only one in the collection I'm iffy about. I love the color, I'm just not to sure about it on me. It seems a bit yellow for my skin tone. 2 coats.
Kennedy: Zoya describes Kennedy as a "pale, french beige creme". That's more like it! This one has more rose-y undertones, so it's much more flattering to my skin. I love it! 2 coats.
Carey: Zoya describes Carey as "periwinkle gray". This is like Dove's more sophisticated cousin. A true grey! 2 coats.
Overall, this collection is a winner for me. So simple, yet so sophisticated... and shades to flatter all! All of the polishes had great formulas and were completely opaque in 2 coats across the board.

ReplyDeleteThe colors are all really girly and pretty but I have to admit I won't be buying any of them. I guess I just love Zoya's sparkly polishes better than cremes...or at least these ones, haha. Oh well. Can't wait to see what else they have in the works :)

ReplyDeleteI am liking Kristin & Cary best. It's rare that I don't end up getting the full collection from Zoya. I have fooled myself too many times when I ordered before I had the spoons in hand to see the shades on my hand and ended up buying 3, then seeing I wanted 2 more. We all know that once you are at 5 out of a collection from Zoya, you might as well get the entire collection because the 6th one in a collection is free compared to the individual bottle price. I sure have to say I have always had great cust service with Zoya.
ReplyDeleteKristen is my favorite too! I seriously need to be forced to wear polishes like this for a week straight. Looking at these colors seriously made me feel a bit calmer and that is always a good thing! :D They really are soothing shades.
