December Julep Maven Boho Glam!

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of posts for the last few days! I've been busy catching up with friends and doing Christmas shopping! Today, I'm going to my friend's house to help her make her Christmas cards with her Cricut!

It's Maven time again! This month's box has a bit of flair to it, since it's Christmas time! Here's what I got in my Boho Glam box!

Julep Pomegranate Body Creme: This stuff SMELLS AMAZING! It's seriously really great, and feels SO silky! My husband even liked the smell of it! I might be biased since I tend to love anything Pomegranate-scented, but it really does smell awesome! The only down side to this is that some of the lotion worked it's way out of the jar during shipping, so everything in my package had a lotion-y layer. Nothing a quick wipe didn't solve!

Julep Nail Applique in Peacock: The design on these are so cute! The next picture will show a more close-up picture of the design. I'm interested to see how these will hold up next to Sally Hansen and Incoco.

Julep Fast Dry Topcoat: I wasn't too excited to get this. I bought this a few months ago with my referral credits, and wasn't impressed. After 20 minutes, my nails were still VERY tacky, and I actually ended up putting China Glaze Fast Forward over the top of it to force it to dry! I may be spoiled because of the top coats I've been using, but it seems strange that it would claim "fast dry" when it took MORE than 20 minutes!

Here is an up close view of everything in the package! This month in everyone's box they included a bonus little pot of nail art things... The one I was given has little gold bullions! I don't think I have gold, so that's cool!

Look at how cute those appliques are! Can't wait to try them! :) I'll be sure to show them to you guys when I do!

  1. LOVE the appliques, good to know their lotion rocks, and I'd try to topcoat again with thinner coats of polish underneath (even though SV can conquer anything lol). Or if you continue to hate it feel free to send it to me in our Christmas swap :D.

  2. Is the creme thick enough to be like a cuticle cream?

  3. I would call it like a thick lotion... Not so much a cuticle creme! Although, every time I use lotion, I massage it into my cuticles.
