Nubar Reclaim

Sunshine! Ooooh gorgeous, beautiful, bright, WARM sunshine! It has been SO rainy here for the last few weeks.... and FINALLY today we have some sunshine! In honor of the beautiful weather, I decided to break out one of my untried holo's (Blasphemy, right?), Nubar Reclaim!

Woah! This was so worth waiting for sunshine! The formula on this was absolutely flawless, with only 2 coats and NO dragging like most of the other holo's I've used. Gorgeous and Kelly Green indoors, and beautiful and holographic outdoors. Nubar needs to make more holos.... NOW!

Pink Wednesday (A day late): Barry M Pink Flamingo

Hey guys! I tried to post this yesterday, and blogger was NOT cooperating. I couldn't get the pictures to load! I was going to try last night, but I got home super late.... So, here you are! Barry M Pink Flamingo!

Pink Flamingo's name is so accurate.... It's literally the color of one of those kitschy pink lawn flamingos. (Remember on the Sims, you could make your Sim kick it? Haha)  I got lots of compliments on this color, and I absolutely love it! My plan was to add some darker pink polkadots to this when I got home, but I chipped the hell out of it while I was riding horses with my mom yesterday.

What did you have on your nails for Pink Wednesday? :)

Zoya Hope

Here's another manicure from my downtime. Zoya Hope!

Hope is a gorgeous shimmery purple. I had debated and debated about adding her to my Polish Exchange order, but ultimately resolved to do it, and I'm so glad I did! I love Hope! :D

Followers Pick Friday: China Glaze Zombie Zest

Been waiting to try this one out.... Thanks for picking it for me!!!

China Glaze Zombie Zest, layered over OPI DS Radiance. I layered it because on my nail wheel, it was a bit sheer (It could be built up, but I wanted to try. :)  ). I've seen it over black and white, so I decided to try Silver. It really made the color in ZZ pop! Zombie Zest is a murky olive green.... The perfect Zombie color! I saw it described once as "the perfect shade of rotting flesh". LOL! I have to admit, I love this color.... But I'm not sure if it's because it's a great color, or because it's Zombie themed. I have this stuck in my head....

Finger Paints Hue Rang?

Morning, Ladies! Another quick post for you to see today... (making up for lost time! hah!)

Finger Paints Hue Rang?

Hue Rang? is a dark dusty lavender-grape with a silver shimmer through-out. It almost reminds me of Catrice's Dirty Berry, but without the holographic sparkle; the shimmer in this is pure subtle silver. The particles are also less visible than those in DB, although it's not a bad thing.... Almost like Zoya Marley's concentrated sister! Hue Rang? also dried darker on the nail than it appeared in the bottle. A beautiful color! Glad I have it in my collection, and I'm sure Kati P. will be pleased to see this one.... as it's in her swap package that I FINALLY got a box for and will be shipping out today! :)

I'M BACK! {Again!} + NEW URL + Finger Paints Coral Complement

Okay, so if you follow my Facebook page, you know about the frustration that I've faced for the last few days. On Saturday, I purchased a new custom domain. Did you notice? You were redirected to! How nifty is that? Woo hoo! However, there were some technical glitches that shut me down for a few days... I was VERY frustrated, and pretty much cried about it. BUT, it's FIXED!! A HUGE thank you to my room mate Phil, and my BFF's hubby Jeremy for helping me fix it... I couldn't have done it without them!

Anyway, now for the polish! Today, I have a gorgeous polish to share with you: Finger Paints Coral Complement

Coral Complement is a gorgeous pink-orange with a pretty pink-purple shimmer. Not evident on the nail in my pictures (you can see it in the bottle), but it is definitely visible in good lighting, like sunshine! (A rarity in Tennessee.... we've had nothing but rain!) This one is gorgeous, and if you're lucky, you'll find it on Clearance at your Sally's for $2 like I did!

Pimp My Melmer!

Hey guys! Just a real quick post to show you my Melmer!! I've been debating getting Melmers for awhile to store my polish in. (I was very quickly outgrowing my bookshelf!) After seeing Rebecca's DIY Decorated Melmer tutorial, I HAD to try! I went to Michael's that day and purchased 2 3-drawer organization stations (or "Melmers", as we Nail Bloggers have christened them), some Mod-Podge, and scrapbook paper. (Thanks for helping me decide, Megan!!)

Here's what I came up with!

I LOVE the way it turned out!! Thanks for the tutorial, Rebecca!!!

Blog Tag: What's In Your Purse?

I decided to start something fun. Today, I wanna know what's in your purse! Dump your purse, answer the questions, and tag 5 bloggers to find out what's in their purse!

~Where did you get your purse, and how long have you had it? I got my purse about a month ago, when I was on my shopping date with Sarah. I got it at Charming Charlies!

~What are 3 must-haves in your purse?(Not including keys and wallet) I have to have lotion, lip gloss, and my Burts Bees Cuticle Butter!

~What is something you should have in your purse right now, but don't?  I really should have a nail file... I don't know where my Ruby Stone ran off to!

~What is the thing you have the most of in your purse right now? I have a TON of nail polish in my purse right now... 3 bottles of Pure Ice Crackles, and the 3 Barry M's that my husband brought me from England! I have a tendency to buy polish, throw it in my purse instead of wasting a bag, and then forget it's in there when I get home. It builds up! Hah.

I tag:
Megan from Painting Rainbows
Sarah from Samarium's Swatches
Cris at Let Them Have Polish
Jeanie at Midnight Manicures
Lindsay at VI

My first shot at sponging/Galaxy Manicure

Hey ladies! Big news... MY HUSBAND IS HOME!! He was in England visiting his family (I came back without him... he stayed for another 10 days). I am so happy to have him home!!! :) AND he brought me 3 Barry M's (I didn't get to pick up any when I was there)! YAY!!

I was planning on going to the pool, but then I looked outside. Yeaaaah, so much for that. :( So I decided to play with my nails instead! My GOSH Ocean was still intact, so I decided to try something I haven't ventured into before.... Sponging! Here's what happened:

I used:
GOSH Ocean
Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure
Zoya Ibiza
China Glaze IDK
China Glaze Fairy Dust

I think it turned out ok.... I wish I had a bigger hex glitter to go ontop... similar to the size of the larger glitters in Deborah Lippman glitters. My OPI Servin' Up Sparkle will work when it comes in the mail... I ordered the set with Grape, Set, Match on eBay for a really good deal! Over all, though, I am pleased. What do you think?

Followers Pick Friday: GOSH Ocean

Hey ladies! This Friday, you've picked GOSH Ocean for me!

For this polish, Ocean is the perfect name... It reminds me so much of the sea! The finish has the feel of Mother of Pearl... It's got such a gorgeous, shimmery depth to it! The color was really hard to capture.... This picture is the ONE that I could get that showed it pretty accurately:

Unfortunately, I couldn't get any of the rest of my pictures to show up this well.

Here's the only downside to this gorgeous color: The formula was a BITCH. It didn't play nicely with my OPI Nail Envy, so I ended up having to do this mani twice. The bubbling was so horrible! The second time around, I didn't use a base coat. It was better, but as you can see it was a bit streaky. Was it worth it? Yes... but still a tad disappointing. Even so, I loooove this color, and I'm glad I picked it up!

OPI Not Like The Movies + BM-224

Hey ladies! After having this is my stash for almost 3 months, I have finally gotten around to using OPI Not Like The Movies. I was really excited, because I thought this whole time that mine was the pretty duo-chrome version, but alas! It seems as if I have the regular old silver version. I'm okay with it though... This version of NLTM is beautiful in it's own right!

This is the only flash of duochrome I could find.... Just a HINT of aqua green. It hides most of the time.

Not Like The movies is a pretty, deep gunmetal grey, with a white silver shimmer and larger glass flecks.  You can really see the bits of larger flecks in the last few pictures, but it really shows more on the nail than it lets on in my pictures. This is more of a muted, dark grey silver, unlike the bright blingy-ness of Zoya Trixie. I really like it.... it's a very wearable silver! More like a shimmery medium dark grey.

I finished off this mani by stamping with one of the new Bundle Monster plates, BM-224 and my favourite black stamping polish, Essence I Love My Jeans.

Loving this one! It's a full nail design with colors that aren't so in your face.... very wearable for anyone, in my opinion!

Have a great Thursday! Tomorrow is Followers Pick, GOSH edition! :)

Models Own Magenta Pearl

Hey guys! I have another one of my new Models Own's to show you today.... Magenta Pearl!

Magenta Pearl is exactly what it sounds like... a beautiful deep magenta with a pearly silver shimmer. This is 3 coats, but it really only needed 2... I was having some bubble issues (put my coats on too thick :( Totally my fault!) One thing I LOVE about MO is it dries so fast!! The more Models Own I use, the more I love it... Seriously! I hope my hubby brings me more like I asked him to! (He comes home on Friday... I can't WAIT!)

Have a great night! <3

Zoya Akyra + OPI Silver Shatter

Hey ladies!  I have a really pretty mani to show you today... Zoya Akyra and OPI Silver Shatter!

This is my favourite mani that I've done in awhile! I LOVE the way this looks! Akyra really pops underneath the Silver Shatter! And  I love the way the shatter cracked this time around.... Awesome!

Here's Akyra by itself:

This picture is probably the most color accurate!
Are you guys absolutely sick of crackle polish yet? I still love it... I love it watch it work it's magic! :D

No. 7 Milan

Hey guys! I hope you're having a great weekend so far! Today, I want to show you another one of my polishes that I got abroad... No. 7's Milan!

Milan is a frosty pink with silver foil shimmer. It went on like a dream with only 2 coats! I stared at my nails all day with this on... the little silver-y particles are mesmerizing! This was also my second shot with my Out The Door topcoat. My first try with it turned out quite bubbly, but this one ended up much better! I have to say it's my new go-to top coat, and you know I'm a Seche Vite lover!

I took a shopping trip today... I went to Ross, and it was a total bust. Next, I went to Michaels to get some Melmers, which I will post about in the next few days. Then, I went to Marshalls, and found Nicole by OPI sets!

Stuck in the Chimney & Spark My Mistletoe; You Go, Girl! and Midnight Snowfall

The Mattes! Virtuous Violet and Wild Blue Yonder; Respect the World and No Limits.

These were $6.99 a piece... Considering N OPI is normally $8 a piece, this is an AMAZING deal!! Run to your Marshall's, ladies!
