11 Weeks Pregnant

Hey guys! I am going to start doing a (hopefully) weekly post on how my pregnancy is coming along! I hope you guys enjoy them!

How far along? 11 weeks
Baby is the size of a: Fig! Almost 2 inches!
Total weight gain: 2 lbs-ish... I lost some at the beginning when I was a bit nauseous and lacked an appetite.
Maternity clothes? One pair of grey maternity slacks for work, and they are SO comfortable! Other than that, using the oh-so-wonderful rubber band trick for my jeans... Just very bloated!
Stretch marks? Nope!
Sleep: Frequent bathroom trips and weirdo dreams are waking me up a few times a night, and when I have a headache, I have a hard time falling asleep. A recently acquired body pillow has helped!
Best moment this week? Our 11 week ultrasound! So amazing, seeing those little fingers and toes! And the profile!!!
Miss anything? Wine.... :( And being able to smell chicken without running outside/upstairs!
Movement: I'm not for SURE, but I think I possibly have been feeling some guppy fish moves over the pas week. Definitely not gas.... We'll see!
Cravings? No cravings yet, but I do frequently eat Mexican! The only thing I can completely stomach!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Just the smell of cooking chicken... I can eat it just fine! No actual sickness yet though... just nausea, thank goodness!
Gender: Not sure yet... we'll find out at the end of March!
Labor signs: None... Still have some cooking to do!
Symptoms: Major headaches has been the big thing this week... Other than that and being tired, I'm feeling pretty good! The nausea has pretty much tapered off, and as a result, so has my massive amount of Gold Fish cracker comsumption!
Belly Button in or out? Innie.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy, but easily grumpy if I have a headache!
Looking forward to: Finding out the sex of our fig-sized baby at the end of March! And, believe it or not, getting a baby bump! So excited about that! (Ask me again how much I'm enjoying that when summer rolls around!!)

ManGlaze Mink Mitten

Hey guys! I want to thank you all so much for your sweet words of congratulations yesterday! I have been itching to tell you all ever since we found out on December 12th! I can't wait to share the experience with you through my blog! Keep and eye out, I've got a post scheduled for later today with a belly picture (not that there's much of one yet) and some info!

Now, onto the polish! As promised, here is the other new ManGlaze to my collection.... Mink Mitten!

There are no words for this.... Pictures don't do it justice! I meant to take some pictures outside in the natural sunlight, but I didn't get the chance. Mink Mitten is seriously beautiful! AND it lasted 3 days!!! A record for any matte polish in my collection... ManGlaze seriously needs to give other polish companies some advice on their matte formulas! Gorgeous, smooth coverage, and easy to work with... and the color is just to die for! I would call it a medium-dark lavender with LOADS of shimmer! If you don't have this one, what are you waiting for? If you love purples, you NEED this!

<3 See you again soon!

Brainz! And a thumb sucker!

Rainbows&Sparkles Polish Station!

Hey guys! Happy sunday! I've been meaning to post this for awhile, and just never got around to it. You may remember my Melmer decorating post awhile back... I have updated it quite a lot since then! Check out my polish station!

Using all of the "melmer" cubes and such, I made a desk! Obviously, I changed the colors... I used fabric this time around, and I really like the look of it better than the paper that I used before. What you see here are 4 of the 3-drawer storage cubes, a desk top, and a glass-front, 2 shelf cabinet. The shelves on the wall are also part of the storage system. All of the pieces were very easy to put together, and in total, the whole desk cost about $130. (Coupons are your best friend!) You can find this craft storage at Michaels, and keep an eye out! They usually go on sale! If not, use a coupon... never pay full price! The drawers on either side store all of my polish pretties... There are 2 empty drawers, and the rest are very full!

As for the painting above, that is completely drawn and painted by yours truly! I was inspired by a card sent to me by a fellow blogger, and the creative juices started flowing!

I plan to make more "stations" when I get a craft room of my own... I have lots of scrapbooking and Cricut supplies, as well as a CRAP TON of yarn, that need a permanent home! My craft room will also double as a playroom in the future! Hopefully I'll have my new room in the next few months! Until then, this little corner of my livingroom will have to do!

I hope you love my polish station... How do you store your polish and supplies?

ManGlaze Lesbihonest

Hey guys! I'm back! Sorry I was gone for so long... My nails have been in Nail Envy Rehab! Thank goodness they're back to normal now... hopefully they will stay this way! I just couldn't bring myself to show you guys those disgraceful nubs I had going on! I promise you I have a good reason for being gone so much lately... :)

Anyway, onto the nail polish! I treated myself to some pretties last week.... I placed an order for 2 ManGlazes! Here is the first of two... I'll be showing you the other one tomorrow!

Here is the fantastic ManGlaze Lesbihonest!

Lesbihonest is, in typical ManGlaze fashion, a beautiful Matte shimmer... This one, a wonderfully pigmented fuchsia (WHY CAN'T I EVER SPELL THAT RIGHT!). This was almost a one-coater... It looked great until I took my pictures with flash... Then, it looked a bit patchy. ManGlaze seriously has the best formula for Matte polishes that I have ever experienced! Not only do they apply like a dream (unlike some, that tend to be goopy and problematic if you don't have a very quick hand), but they get better wear time than any Matte I've ever tried! I've had the one I'm going to show you tomorrow on for almost 2 days, and NO CHIPS! They also come to life with a topcoat! Totally worth the price. :)

You can buy ManGlaze all for your very own on their Facebook Page store, or on Amazon! (on Amazon, use the code OCCUPYME for 10% off)

See you  tomorrow!

Did you see what I did there?

Zoya True Collection for Spring 2012: Photos and Swatches

Hey guys! I have an absolutely beautiful collection to show you today... here are my swatches of Zoya's True Collection!

L to R: Cho, Bevin, Farrah, Skylar, Tru, Lotus

Cho: My second favorite Ravenclaw! (Luna is my fav. :)  ) Zoya describes Cho as "full coverage, vanilla shimmer metallic". Cho really does remind me of the perfect vanilla nude. As burned out as I am on neutrals, I am quite fond of Cho. 3 coats.

Bevin: Zoya describes Bevin as "full coverage, pale sage green cream". She is so soft, unique and gorgeous! I don't have anything like this in my collection! 2 coats.

Farrah: Zoya describes Farrah as a whiney teenage mother on Teen Mom "full coverage, latte beige cream". Farrah almost has a bit of a grey undertone to me... Still pretty and flattering! 2 coats.

Skylar: Zoya describes Skylar as "Full coverage, silvered slate blue metallic". I love this color! It's such a pretty, flattering blue! And the shimmer in this, as well as the next two, is just amazing!! 2 coats.

Tru: Zoya describes Tru as "Full coverage, gilded purple orchid metallic". The shimmer in Tru is a bit different than that in Skylar... It has more of a pink-ish hue. How gorgeous is this! It just glows. Wonderful! 2 coats.

Lotus: Zoya describes Lotus as "Full coverage, light lotus purple metallic". Same shimmer as Tru, but a softer shade of purple. This is almost similar to Zoya Neeka, but not quite. I'll have to compare the two soon. Another favorite from the collection! Can you tell I like sparkle? 2 coats.

All in all, this collection is just gorgeous and just screams "Springtime"! My favorites, in no particular order, are Lotus, Tru, Bevin, and Skylar! Please don't ask me to pick just one of them... I love them all! This collection will be available at www.zoya.com on January 13!

What do you think? Which are your favorites? Which do you HAVE to have??

Keep an eye out for the Fleck Effects! See you soon! <3
