32 Weeks!

Photo courtesy of Angela Melton Photography

How Far Along: 32 weeks
Gender: It's a BOY!
Weight Gain: 11 lbs
Maternity Clothes: Yup! Dresses and maxi skirts are still my favorite!
Sleep: Good, but I've been getting pretty hot at night so that's been waking me up.
Best moment this week: My maternity picture session with my wonderful Mommy! The pictures turned out so beautiful! We also finished up Gavin's nursery, which turned out even better than I could have hoped! I'll post pictures in a separate post.
Miss anything? I really can't wait to move like a normal person again!
Movement: He's a belly ninja!
Cravings: Not really.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Symptoms: Heartburn is still pretty bad, but the Zantac helps a lot.
Labor signs: I was in the hospital last week. On Sunday night (The day before Labor Day, hah!) I started having contractions, and we headed to the hospital because they were about 5 minutes apart. They're not sure what caused it... I wasn't dehydrated or anything! They gave me a few bags of fluids and everything stopped. It was weird!
Belly Button in or out? Out!
Wedding rings on or off? Off, though I did manage to squeeze them back on for my maternity pics!
Happy or moody most of the time? I get frustrated pretty quickly. Typical 3rd trimester, I guess. I'm getting my feelings hurt recently a little easier than I'd like. Oh well!
Looking forward to: Finishing up Gavin's cloth diapers, and my baby shower in a few weeks! :)

30 weeks pregnant!

How Far Along: 30 weeks
Gender: It's a BOY!
Weight Gain: 9 lbs
Maternity Clothes: Oh yes! I got new bras this week too.... SO comfy! It way past time!
Sleep: Good, despite getting up pretty early lately. Zoey is officially in her own bed (again) and has been sleeping all night the majority of the time! <3
Best moment this week: All of Gavin's wiggles!
Miss anything? Being able to move easily. And babywearing... I REALLY miss wearing Zoey consistently. I just get worn out so quickly now. :(
Movement: He's been moving like crazy this week! Knees and elbows and who knows what else... It tickles!
Cravings: Not really.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Symptoms: Oh my gosh, the heartburn! I've started taking Zantac, and hopefully that will calm things down a bit.
Labor signs: Nada.
Belly Button in or out? Out!
Wedding rings on or off? Off.
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy for the most part, but I also feel pretty run down. I get tired easily and my fuse is getting shorter.
Looking forward to: Finishing up his nursery this weekend! Also, we'll be finishing up our registry at Target, and my Mom and sister have started planning my little shower. Sewing up more diapers for Gavin's stash, and getting everything ready for him to make his grand entrance!! <3

Also, Zoey is TWO! Her birthday party was a blast! We had so many wonderful friends and family come to swim and celebrate with us! <3

27 Weeks Pregnant! Hello third trimester!

How Far Along: 27 weeks
Gender: It's a BOY!
Weight Gain: 5 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: Still rocking a lot of maxi skirts and dresses, and yoga pants! They're the only thing that's comfortable with him sitting so low.
Sleep: Really good lately! I suspect that will change soon.
Best moment this week: FINALLY got our crib delivered and put together!! I got most of the stuff hung on the walls. A few more odds and ends and it'll be finished! I also ordered a new woven wrap for our stash, bringing me up to 3 woven wraps. It's gorgeous! Also, chopped all of my hair off... I feel so much better now!
Miss anything? Bending over.
Movement: He moves all the time... I can consistently feel when he's asleep or awake. I love his little wiggles!
Cravings: Nothing too weird.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope! But red sauces have started giving me some wicked heartburn...
Symptoms: Heartburn and just overall feeling big. Feet swell a bit if I'm on them for too long.... Typical home stretch!
Labor signs: Nada.
Belly Button in or out? Halfway out.
Wedding rings on or off? Off.
Happy or moody most of the time? Very happy!
Looking forward to: Putting the final touches on his room... And ZOEY'S BIRTHDAY THIS WEEK! I can't believe my munchkin will be two!!

Look for a nail post this week (I got to play with some Jamberry strips!), as well as pictures from Zoey's birthday party!

Maternity Clothes: Oh yes! I got a super cute maxi dress from Target that's so comfy and cute!
Sleep: Good! Zoey is sleeping through the night again (with no 'dodie'!!!) so I'm only having to get up 1-2 times a night to go to the bathroom.
Best moment this week: Progress on Gavin's nursery! My husband and I got his dresser and bookshelf put together, so now all we're waiting on is this nightmare of a shipping company to bring our crib (It's been TWO WEEKS since it shipped..... Thank you Home Direct USA. TERRIBLE!), and all of his furniture will be in place! I also got some of the decorations done for his walls. I can't wait to see it all put together!
Miss anything? Wine!
Movement: Definitely!
Cravings: Iced coffee... Yum!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!

Labor signs: Nada.
Belly Button in or out? Halfway out.
Wedding rings on or off? Off, officially. :( I can still  get them on, but they're tighter than I'm comfortable with.
Happy or moody most of the time? Very happy!
Looking forward to: Finishing up the nursery!

Weight Gain: +1
Maternity Clothes: Definitely! Still loving dresses and skirts. I also busted out my bikini this week for some belly sun!
Sleep: Pretty good, thanks to my awesome pregnancy pillow! A must have!
Best moment this week: Celebrating 4th of July with my husband and best friend! It was a gorgeous day in the upper 80s, so we spent the day at the pool! We also went to see the fireworks, which Zoey thought was awesome!
Miss anything? Not really.
Movement: Yep! He's an active little guy! His movements have gotten smaller lately, even though they're still there... I think he turned around.
Cravings: Mexican food! The crock pot chicken tacos I made this week really hit the spot.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!
Symptoms: Heartburn, and my hands have started getting tingly. Other than that, I just feel a lot slower... I can't bend down as much, and I can't move as fast!

Movement: Lots! I love being able to see him from the outside, and I feel his tiny movements all the time!

Labor signs: Nada.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time? Very happy!
Looking forward to: Getting some more done in the nursery. We're on hold until we can get his furniture, which will be another month or so. I can't wait to see how it all comes together!

Other than all of that, I finally started on his diaper stash this week... As you guys know, I sew cloth diapers for my little online business ( Itsy Stitches ), and most of his cloth diaper stash will be made by me! He officially has his first diaper now, with many more to come! I've also made lots of flannel swaddling blankets and bibs for him. I have so much more to do!

20 weeks.... Halfway there!

How Far Along: 20 weeks.... Gavin is as long as a banana!
Gender: It's a BOY!
Weight Gain: -2 lb. Please don't hate me. I gained 20 lbs inn the 18 months that I nursed Zoey, so I guess this is my body finally "losing" it!
Maternity Clothes: Loving my maternity shorts and Old Navy maternity tanks!
Sleep: Good.

Cravings: Hummus and crackers.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!
Symptoms: Heartburn has kicked in and I was pretty uncomfortable from it the other night! My linea negra (the dark line that some women get down the middle of their belly) has started showing up again as well.
Labor signs: Nada.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time? Very happy!
Looking forward to: Painting! We're going to go pick out paint this weekend! When I was pregnant with Zoey, I redecorated the upstairs bathroom and (obviously) her bedroom... This time around, I'll be working on Gavin's bedroom and the playroom!

It's a.....

Yesterday, we went to the doctor for our anatomy scan. We took 2 outfits with us, along with a gift bag... We asked the US tech to wrap the right outfit up in the gift bag, so we could go home and open it while my mom took pictures! Talk about going crazy... It takes some serious self control to not rip into that bag as soon as it is in your hands! But, I resisted. We went to my Mom's house to pick up Zoey, and we all sat down to open our gift....

I posted this on Facebook at the doctor's office... Just to drive everyone nuts!

I am still shocked! I was totally expecting another girl... I was convinced! That being said though, I am totally thrilled... It's going to be fun to explore a whole other side of parenting! New cloth diapers, all new clothes, trucks, dirt, bugs... And the best cuddles that I'll ever get! (Besides Zoey's! He has some work to do.... She gives pretty awesome cuddles!)

So, everyone say hi to Gavin Alexander!

We are so excited, and I just know Zoey is going to love having a little brother!

18 (and a half) weeks

Whoops!  A little late on that one!

Does anyone actually read this? If not, that's okay... I'm keeping up with it anyway because it's fun to go back and read. But, just curious! If you're reading, leave me a comment!

How Far Along: 18 weeks... Baby is the size of a sweet potato!
Gender: Unknown... until the next post! :D
Weight Gain: -2 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: Loving my shorts now that the weather is getting warmer... The dresses and skirts are starting to make an appearance too!
Sleep: Off and on... I've been waking up really early lately. Annoying!
Best moment this week: Lots and lots of baby wiggles!
Miss anything? Not being able to do as much.
Movement: It's getting more and more consistent, multiple times a day! This baby's a wiggler like Zoey!
Cravings: Spaghetti!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!
Symptoms: I've really started to slow down over the last week or so... If I'm on my feet for too long I get sore. My back and hips get sore if I sit in the same position for too long. I'm feeling good, just getting slower.
Labor signs: Nada.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time? Very happy!
Looking forward to: Finding out what this baby's name is!

17 weeks!

How Far Along: 17 weeks... The size of an Onion!
Gender: Unknown
Weight Gain: -3 lbs. I can't believe I'm halfway with no weight gain!
Maternity Clothes: Most definitely! I bought a new pair of maternity shorts this week!
Sleep: Better!
Best moment this week: The pool opening up! Woooo hoo! I also got a new ring sling... My very first wrap conversion ring sling, which means it's made out of a woven wrap! It's super comfortable, and Zoey loves it!
Miss anything? Wine!
Movement: Lots and lots! I've felt a few barrel rolls, and Thomas got to feel a few as well!
Cravings: Still milk! I've also started putting almond milk in my cereal... Delicious!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!
Symptoms: The itching has subsided for the most part, thank goodness. It's still there, but not as bad. I am definitely starting to feel more "pregnant"... I did way too much a few days ago and paid for it dearly!
Labor signs: Nada.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time? Very happy!
Looking forward to: Our gender reveal... Only 11 days!

16 weeks

A little late, but at least the picture was taken on time! hah!
How Far Along: 16 weeks... baby is the size of an avocado!
Gender: Unknown
Weight Gain: -4 lbs... Holding steady! So proud of myself! I've made it a point to eat healthier and stay active, and it's really helping!
Maternity Clothes: Absolutely! I can't wait to break out some of my cute dresses!
Sleep: It depends on the day. Sometimes it's great, and sometimes it really sucks!
Best moment this week: Getting my lab results back that are NEGATIVE for Cholestasis (for now)!
Miss anything? Wine!
Movement: Definitely, and they're starting to get even stronger! A few of them I have almost felt from the outside!
Cravings: Milk... I've always loved it, but now I can drink it like it's going out of style.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!
Symptoms: Still pretty itchy, but it varies by day. I've been getting some sun outside lately and that seems to be helping. Also using a lot of my Lush Dream Cream... It has oat milk in it so it's helped to soothe my raw skin where I've scratched. I read that apparently with Cholestasis, sometimes the itching starts before the levels start to go up... So I'll just have to wait it out and see.
Labor signs: Nada.
Belly Button in or out? In, but the belly button ring is gone now.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy! The warmer weather and sunshine is most definitely helping!
Looking forward to: The pool! Our pool finally opened up a few days ago, so we're all excited to go swimming!

15 weeks pregnant

How Far Along:
15 weeks... Baby is the size of a Navel Orange!
Gender: Unknown... Only 4 more weeks to wait!
Weight Gain: -4 lbs
Maternity Clothes: Definitely! My regular shirts are starting to get a little snug, so I've been pulling out more and more maternity shirts!
Sleep: So-so.
Best moment this week: More movement! And, I finally had a dream about the little one... In my dream, we had a little girl!
Miss anything? Wine!
Movement: Lots of little movements that are getting more and more frequent! At least once a day, if not more.
Cravings: Almonds! Totally random, but delicious!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!
Symptoms: The million dollar question. So, I've started itching. If you read my posts during my pregnancy with Zoey, you'll remember that toward the end, I was diagnosed with Cholestasis... A condition where the liver productivity slows down and starts backing up bile acids into the blood stream. I have an 80-90% chance of developing it again, and over the last few days, I've developed a lot of itching (which is one of the major signs). I had blood work done on Wednesday, and the test takes a week. I should know by Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm not happy about it.
Labor signs: Nada.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy, but anxious about the impending lab results.
Looking forward to: Our anatomy scan in June, so I can start shopping and sewing our cloth diaper stash!

14 Weeks: Hello, second trimester!

How Far Along: 14 weeks... Squishy is the size of a lemon!
Gender: We'll know soon! I scheduled the appointment today!
Weight Gain: -6 lbs
Maternity Clothes: Oh yes! And by the way, thank you to my new maternity pants for squishing my baby belly in so I look smaller this week! hahah! I will make sure I wear my old stretched out ones for next week's pic!
Sleep: Excellent!
Best moment this week: A good report at our doctor visit... We got to hear the heartbeat on the doctor's doppler.
Miss anything? Wine!
Movement: Little nudges! I missed baby wiggles <3
Cravings: So this week, I learned how to make spicy mayo... You know, the stuff they put on sushi? Oh yeah. So I went and got some japanese egg fried rice, and stirred in some home made spicy mayo. It was HEAVEN!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Feeling great!
Symptoms: Feeling better this week since I started taking probiotics again. And, see that necklace I'm wearing in the pic? It's Baltic Amber, and it's made my headaches disappear! I might never take it off!
Labor signs: Nada.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy!
Looking forward to: Finding out the gender so we can start shopping!

Another fun moment this week was, we got our first package of fluffy mail: 10 newborn sized cloth diapers! We started cloth when Zoey was around 6 months old and we love it! How cute and tiny are these?!

Also, last Saturday, we went and participated in The Great Cloth Diaper Change in Nashville! It takes place every year in locations all over the world, and for the last 2 years, we've broken the Guinness World Record for the most cloth diapers changed at the same time in multiple locations! Last year it was 8,301, and Zoey and I have an official participation certificate from Guinness! Here's hoping we break the record again!

Nail Post: Knocked Up Nails Prenatal Princess

Hey! As most of you know, the original intention for this blog was nails! While I'm not doing my nails on a regular basis anymore, I do sometimes feel the need to polish my pretties! Since I'm pregnant again, I thought this would be the perfect time to show you one of the gorgeous polishes from my collection: Knocked Up Nails' Prenatal Princess!

Knocked Up Nails is a company with 5-free polish that is focused toward expecting mamas! Because all of their products are free of the majorly dangerous chemicals that are toxic to growing tiny humans, they are perfect for us sacred vessels of life. Not to mention, the beautiful colors in their line have witty pregnancy-related names! I dare you to look through their website and come away not wanting a creamsicle or mint chocolate chip ice cream!

So, without further ado, here is Prenatal Princess.

Prenatal Princess is a light pink chrome with a wonderful formula! No streaks and very easy to work with. It's almost a one-coater, but I used 2 thin coats for this manicure. The dry time is a little slow, but the lasting power is wonderful! I chip polish very easily and quickly, and this manicure has lasted 3 days on me with only 2 small chips and just a bit of tip wear. (Might have lasted longer, but I have no pregnancy safe top coat right now!)

To dress it up a bit, I sponged OPI DS Signature on the tips, and I love how it turned out!

If you would like to try Knocked Up Nails, check out their website linked above! They are available for $10 a piece. Also, be sure to like them on Facebook!

13 Weeks Pregnant

How Far Along: 13 weeks.... Squishy is the size of a peach!
Gender: Unknown
Weight Gain: Still -5 lbs!
Maternity Clothes: Still loving my maternity jeans... I got a fold down maxi skirt at Old Navy last week and I was in heaven!
Sleep: Much better!
Best moment this week: Seeing Zoey interact with my new niece Aleigha, who was born last month... She was so sweet and gentle with her! She is going to be such a great big sister!
Miss anything? Eating without getting full after 4 or 5 bites.
Movement: It's getting a little more consistent... I feel little nudges every night when I settle in to bed!
Cravings: Not much...
Anything making you queasy or sick? Still feeling good!
Symptoms: Constipation has reared it's ugly head again, so I have started taking probiotics and upping my water. Ugh!
Labor signs: Nada.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time? Much happier! I can tell I'm moving out of my first trimester. ;)
Looking forward to: My doctor's appointment next week, and scheduling the big ultrasound!

And for your viewing pleasure, here is a picture from Easter! It was Zoey's first Easter egg hunt (she was too little last year) and she was so excited! She got the hang of it quickly and hasn't stopped asking for eggs ever since! Lol!

I hope everyone had a great Easter!

12 weeks!

How Far Along: 12 weeks. Squishy is the size of a plum!
Gender: Unknown
Weight Gain: Holding steady at -5 lbs!
Maternity Clothes: Definitely the pants... Still a little small for shirts.
Sleep: Good! Especially since the Z-monster has decided to finally start sleeping through the night pretty consistently!
Best moment this week: Finally finding Squishy's heartbeat on the doppler! We found it last week faintly, and I got a video of it... But I found it today again! It held steady in the 160s.
Miss anything? Wine! (See a trend here?)
Movement: Still a few random pokes and flutters.
Cravings: Nothing much this week. Food is delicious though!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope! Feeling good!
Symptoms: I'm feeling pretty great: The headaches are still there, but I've been getting a break from them, the fatigue has tapered off... I can tell the end of the first trimester is near!
Labor signs: Nada.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time? Getting happy!
Looking forward to: Easter festivities with my family this weekend! Also, Zoey's first Easter egg hunt! She will have a blast!

And a little extra: If you're interested in comparing, here's my 12 week post with Zoey!

11 Weeks

How Far Along: 11 weeks
Gender: Unknown
Weight Gain: I had a stomach virus for a day that made me lose just a bit more, but I've held the loss, so I'm -5 lbs now.
Maternity Clothes: Yep! Loving my maternity jeans!
Belly Button, in or out: In.
Sleep: Getting better.
Best moment this week: This week was pretty neutral. Like I said, I came down with a stomach bug, and a few days before that my daughter had it. So, moving on!
Miss anything? Wine!
Movement: Starting to feel a few pokes and flutters, and I'm really thinking it's the little squishy saying hi! I felt Zoey around 14 weeks.
Cravings: Yesterday, I had my first intense craving... for Arby's! I drove all the way across town to get it, and it was delicious!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!
Symptoms: I'm not feeling as great this week. I have had an intense headache for about 4 days now, and I only got relief today after I drank a cup of coffee. I'm not normally a coffee drinker, but if it helps these terrible headaches that nothing else will touch? Sign me up!!
Labor signs: Nada.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time? Irritable, and I have a pretty short fuse.
Looking forward to: Finding the heartbeat with the doppler, of course... Still haven't had much luck there. Of course, I also can't wait to find out what we're having so I can plan our new nursery!

I have a few ideas in mind for some not pregnancy related posts, so keep an eye out for those! I've been hard at work on Zoey's felt board, and it's turning out really cute so far. I can't wait to share it with everyone!

One last thing: I don't know if any of my readers are cloth diapering Mamas, but this week in my shop, I have a 10% off code to celebrate a year of Itsy Stitches making cloth diapers! Head over to my Storenvy shop and take a peek, and if you like what you see, use "ITSYVERSARY" for 10% off! And spare my Facebook page a like as well? Cheers!

This eggo is PREGGO! (10 weeks)

Hooray! More belly pictures!

I decided to start up my pregnancy log again on here... I enjoy going back and reading Zoey's old posts, and a few people have expressed that they enjoyed reading them as well! So, here you go! <3

How Far Along: 10 weeks
Gender: Unknown
Weight Gain: -3 lbs!
Maternity Clothes: Oh yes! I totally missed how super comfortable maternity pants are, so I'm all about it! I can't button my old jeans anyway... I'm showing a little faster this time around!
Stretch marks: Just the old ones around my hips and inner thighs.
Belly Button, in or out: In.
Sleep: On and off... Zoey has just started sleeping in her own bed, so when she sleeps like crap, so do I. I have a hard time getting back to sleep when I wake up as well... I'm sure that won't be changing any time soon!
Best moment this week: Finding out that I hit double digit weeks AND lost 3 lbs! Maintaining is good, but losing is better... I gained 20 lbs while I was breastfeeding Zoey, so I want to keep my weight gain to an absolute minimum this time.
Miss anything?: Wine!
Movement: None yet... I can't wait to feel those first flutters!
Cravings: Nothing really yet.
Queasy or sick: Nothing! I've been so lucky this far... I was a little queasy in the first few weeks after I found out, but after 6 weeks or so it tapered off, and I've been feeling great ever since! No food aversions either!
Looking forward to: Starting to feel the little bean, and finding the heartbeat with our doppler! I haven't had any luck yet, but I didn't find Zoey's until around 11.5 weeks.

Wondering about the "not twins!" at the bottom? That's a little joke for everyone that has felt the need to ask! Haha! Believe it or not, thanks to a little thing called "muscle memory", many women DO show faster with their second! I've had this comment made multiple times already. So, no... I'm not having twins. Yes, I'm sure. And yes, my doctor DID double check! (But seriously? Don't ask a pregnant woman if she's having twins. Ever. Unless you want to be asked awkward questions about the size of your abdomen, whether there is a baby growing in there or not! ;)  )

By the way, check out my cute little chalkboard! I wanted something a little more fun this time around. Want to learn to make one yourself? Stay tuned, I'll do a tutorial!

We're pregnant!

China Glaze Polkadot accents!

Today, I did some nail art! It's been refreshing to make my nails pretty again! I also have been transitioning them from square to round, which is actually a shape that I'm really liking on me! It's been a lot easier for me to maintain... Less breakages and no more snagging on things!

So today, I started with a base of China Glaze Dance Baby, and then used a dotting tool to make cute light pink shimmery polkadots on my thumb and ring fingers with China Glaze Angel's Breath. It turned out to be such a cute, girly, simple manicure that I absolutely love!

In other news, Zoey and I have been trying to occupy ourselves inside due to the cold weather! It's dipped into the single digits, and that's just too cold for these Tennessee girls! Zoey's new favorite activities are bubbles (I can't go more than a few hours without a request for "bubbuf? Peeeeees!"), and her box of rice, beans, and pasta! Sounds ridiculously silly and simple, but she loves it! We picked up a shoebox sized tub and added some brown rice, beans, and rotini pasta, and we found some measuring cups, scoops, and spoons in Target's dollar section. She has a blast scooping it up and emptying it into cups and bowls!

A little messy, but all of the best things are... Right? We can't wait for warmer temperatures though... We are ready for the Zoo and the park! If anyone has any other ideas for keeping this little busy girl happy and occupied, please let me know in the comments!

Thanks for reading!

Comebacks and Transformations...

Well, it has certainly been awhile!

Things are doing well in the Parker household! Zoey is now almost 18 months old... Can you believe that? Time has absolutely flown, and I finally understand what other parents meant when they said that I'd forget the little things. I find myself looking back on pictures and videos from 2012-2013, and while I remember the moment, I can't believe my baby was really that little!

Loving on Rainbow Dash!

In the last year, Zoey has learned to walk, talk, sing, and dance... She has been to Europe twice to visit her family and explore the world. She loves castles! Among her favorite shows are Bubble Guppies (which my husband and I both admittedly love!) and My Little Pony (which she sings the theme song to every time she sees them. The girl can spot ponies from a mile away!). She loves dolls ("Ohhh, babies!") and loves to wear my jewelry. She is still a red head! Who knew 2 brunettes could end up with a ginger baby?

A day at the park.

In the last year, I've expanded my crafting hobby to sewing and selling cloth diapers, which I love! (Shoutout to Itsy Stitches!) I balked at the thought of reusable diapers in the past, and now I can't imagine ever using a disposable again! I also got an embroidery machine, which has always been something I dreamed of getting, and "Monogram ALL the  things!" has become a frequent joke in our house!

With all of that said, I think it's time for a comeback for Rainbows & Sparkles... Though not as what it was. There will still be the occasional nail post, oh yes! I don't think I could make my grand return without showing off some fun manicures! But I'm so much more than nail polish. I'm a breastfeeding, babywearing, cloth diapering, sewing, crafting, singing, reading, fun-loving stay-at-home Mommy that loves to brag about my little girl. I want a place to share my love of crafting and baby wearing and cloth diapering and parenting... So, expect big changes from Rainbows & Sparkles. The name is the same, but I tend to incorporate Rainbows & Sparkles into many aspects of my life, not just onto my nails.
